Cusco Cathedral
Renaissance cathedral with Baroque elements, built between 1559 and 1654 on the north side of the Plaza de Armas, on the site of the old Inca palace of Kiswarkancha. It was built with stone taken from Sacsayhuamán. It holds numerous paintings of the Cusco School, among them a famous Last Supper by Marcos Zapata in which guinea pig is served, and the carved figure of the Lord of the Earthquakes.
