Cartago Collection Museum
The Cartago Collection Museum is one of the largest private antique collections in Spain, located in the village of Los Martínez del Puerto, 24 kilometres from Murcia. Founded more than 34 years ago by the businessman Antonio Saura Antolinos, the museum brings together hundreds of items catalogued since 1898, meticulously arranged across five rooms. Visitors can see historic cars and motorbikes dating from the 1930s, Spanish toys, dolls, figurines and tricycles, tractors, engines and machinery, as well as antique toys from around the world. Among the standout pieces is a 1934 Citroën 11 Ligero, the first front-wheel-drive car in history, and a recreation of the Bugatti Type 35, the first electric toy car. The premises are very well kept and its display cases look splendid.
