Philosopher's Path
NatureVisit: ~60 min
A walk of about two kilometres alongside a canal in eastern Kyoto, lined with cherry trees, which is often combined with a visit to Ginkaku-ji temple. It takes its name from the philosopher Nishida Kitarō, who walked it to meditate. In spring the cherry trees form a tunnel of blossom over the water.
