A collegiate church in the Plaza de San Sebastián in Antequera. Work began in the 16th century, directed by Diego de Vergara, and in 1692 the collegiate chapter moved its seat here from Santa María. The Renaissance facade has three tiers with fluted columns with Corinthian capitals, niches with Saint Peter, Saint Paul and Saint Sebastian, and the coat of arms of Charles V in the attic. The tower was begun by Ignacio de Urzueta and continued from 1701 by Andrés Burgueño of Antequera; it is topped by the Angelote, a wooden angel that serves as a weathervane. Inside there are three aisles separated by cruciform pillars with Ionic columns, a set of choir stalls from the confiscated convent of San Agustín and two Baroque organs. In the Gospel aisle is the tomb of Rodrigo de Narváez, the city's first governor.
