The oldest historic garden in Barcelona, created from 1791 by the Desvalls family on the grounds of an estate in Horta, to a design by the Italian Domenico Bagutti. It combines a neoclassical garden, with pavilions and sculptures, and a Romantic area added in the 19th century. Its cypress maze, in the centre of the garden, gives the park its name. It also has ponds, waterfalls and a small palace.
