Oratory of the Santa Cueva
CultureVisit: ~30 min
Complex of two superimposed 18th-century chapels on Calle Rosario, in the old town of Cádiz. The upper chapel, neoclassical, oval in plan and the work of the architect Torcuato Benjumeda, holds three canvases by Francisco de Goya, painted around 1795: The Last Supper, The Miracle of the Loaves and Fishes and The Parable of the Wedding Feast. The lower chapel, older, dark and austere, contrasts with the upper one.
