Al-Azhar Park
NatureVisit: ~120 min
Park opened in 2005 on a hill next to Cairo's historic centre, on a former rubble dump, at the initiative of the Aga Khan Trust for Culture. It has Islamic-inspired gardens, fountains and paths, with views of Saladin's Citadel, the minarets and the Islamic city. It is one of the few large green spaces in the capital.
