Southern gate of Fatimid Cairo, built in 1092 under the vizier Badr al-Jamali with worked stone and two large semicircular towers. In the 15th century the two minarets of the mosque of al-Mu'ayyad Shaykh were added above it, and they can be climbed. From the heights you can see the rooftops of the medieval city, Al-Muizz Street and the Citadel in the distance.
