An open gallery of three great arches built between 1376 and 1382 next to the Palazzo Vecchio, intended for the Republic's public ceremonies. Today it works as an open-air museum: it houses Benvenuto Cellini's Perseus with the Head of Medusa (1554), Giambologna's Rape of the Sabine Women and Roman sculptures. Admission is free.
