Bierpinsel
CultureVisit: ~15 min
The Bierpinsel is a concrete tower of about 47 metres on Schloßstraße, in Steglitz, designed by the architects Ralf Schüler and Ursulina Schüler-Witte and completed in 1976 as a restaurant tower above an urban motorway junction. Its futuristic shape, with floors that recall a tree or a paintbrush, has made it an icon of 1970s architecture in Berlin.
