Bröhan Museum
The Bröhan Museum is a Berlin state museum devoted to Art Nouveau, Art Deco and Functionalism, located in the Charlottenburg district. Its collection brings together furniture, porcelain, glass, ceramics, metalwork, textiles, painting and sculpture, with works by artists such as Hector Guimard, Henry van de Velde and Peter Behrens, and porcelain pieces from German, French and Scandinavian factories. The museum occupies three floors of the building and presents its collection through regular rotations of objects, alongside temporary exhibitions of fine art, applied arts and design from 1950 to the present. The Blackbox format hosts periodic shows devoted to poster design, graphic art and photography.
