Museum housed in the mansion that the industrialist Henry Clay Frick had built on Fifth Avenue, next to Central Park, to a design by Carrère and Hastings (1914). It brings together top-level Old Master European painting: three Vermeers, Rembrandt's The Polish Rider and Holbein's portrait of Thomas More, as well as sculpture and decorative arts in a domestic setting.
