The KaDeWe is a department store on Tauentzienstraße in Berlin, with eight floors devoted to different types of goods. The sixth floor houses a food hall with a wide variety of groceries, drinks and food, staffed by around 110 cooks and 40 bakers and pastry chefs who supply 35 gourmet counters and restaurants. The seventh floor has a winter garden with a 1,000-seat restaurant surrounded by windows offering views over Wittenbergplatz.
