Bangkok's great flower market, beside the Memorial Bridge (Phra Phutthayotfa), on the Phra Nakhon bank. It runs almost round the clock and sells orchids, roses, marigolds, jasmine and the garlands offered at temples, as well as fruit and vegetables. It is at its busiest at night and in the early hours, with vans and carts unloading flowers in bulk.
