Gothic red-brick tower on Gediminas Hill, the last remnant of Vilnius's Upper Castle. It is one of the symbols of the city and flies the Lithuanian tricolour. Inside there is an exhibition by the National Museum of Lithuania on the history of the castle and, from the upper terrace, there are views over the old town, the Neris river and the modern districts.
