Lutheran Church of St Peter and St Paul (Petrikirche)
A Lutheran church on Nevsky Prospect built in the 1830s to a design by Alexander Briullov, one of the first Protestant communities in the capital. In Soviet times it was given other uses, including a swimming pool, and was later recovered as a church. Its Neo-Romanesque-style facade and its tower stand out among the buildings of the Nevsky.
