Tokyo DisneySea is a 71-hectare theme park in Urayasu, Chiba, Japan, opened on 4 September 2001. It is dedicated to nautical exploration and has seven themed ports: Mediterranean Harbor, American Waterfront, Lost River Delta, Port Discovery, Mermaid Lagoon, Arabian Coast and Mysterious Island, plus Fantasy Springs since 2024. Visitors can enjoy attractions such as Journey to the Center of the Earth, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Tower of Terror and Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Crystal Skull, and shows such as Big Band Beat and Out of Shadowland. The park is home to Hotel MiraCosta, integrated into the Mediterranean Harbor area, and Mount Prometheus as its central landmark. It has won international awards and is one of the most visited parks in the world.
