A former Nasrid grain exchange from the 14th century, on Calle Mariana Pineda, near the Alcaicería. It is the only surviving Muslim caravanserai in Spain. It has a pointed horseshoe-arch doorway decorated with stucco work, and a rectangular courtyard with galleries on several floors. After the Christian conquest it served as an inn and a theatre for plays.
