Museum in Fustat, south of Cairo's historic centre, devoted to the history of Egyptian civilization from prehistory to the present day. Since April 2021 it has housed the royal mummies of pharaohs and queens of the New Kingdom, moved in a parade from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square, in a hall dedicated to them.
