Fatehpuri Mosque
17th-century mosque built around 1650 by Fatehpuri Begum, one of Shah Jahan's wives, at the western end of Chandni Chowk. It is made of red sandstone and has a large central dome, surrounded by an arcaded courtyard with a pool. Because of its location, at the end of the main street of the old town, opposite the Red Fort at the other end, and near the Khari Baoli spice bazaar, it is the natural starting or finishing point of a walk along Chandni Chowk.
