Four Lions Bridge
CultureVisit: ~15 minFree
Pedestrian bridge over the Griboyedov Canal, built in the 1820s. Its suspension cables come out of the mouths of four cast-iron lions, the work of the sculptor Pavel Sokolov, which flank both ends of the deck. It is one of the most recognisable suspension bridges in the historic centre of Saint Petersburg and takes a couple of minutes to cross on foot.
