Ceremonial avenue of about three kilometres that links Rashtrapati Bhavan, the president's residence, with India Gate, flanked by lawns, canals and trees. It was called Rajpath until 2022, when it was renamed Kartavya Path. Every 26 January it hosts the Republic Day parade. Along the way you can see the ministry buildings by Herbert Baker and, at the far end, Lutyens's arch.
